VISA PROCEDURES

Schengen Visa: We are not authorized to issue visas as the Honorary Consulate General of the Republic of Slovenia. However, Turkish citizens residing in Istanbul can apply for the Slovenian visa at the VFS Global  visa application centers in Istanbul without having to go to the Embassy of Slovenia in Ankara.

According to the agreement made between the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Ankara and the Hungarian Consulate in Istanbul, persons within the scope of the Istanbul region can submit any short-term visa applications to the Hungarian Consulate in Istanbul

Temporary residence permit for study and work:  Students who attend universities in Slovenia as  Erasmus Exchange students or those going to Slovenia for work have to apply personally to the Slovenian Embassy in Ankara.
