Visit of H.E. Dr. Miro Cerar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, to Turkey
Slovenia's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H.E. Dr. Miro Cerar paid an official visit to Turkey between 10-13 February 2020.
After the meetings at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ankara where bilateral relations, Turkey's EU membership process and regional developments were discussed, H.E. Dr. Cerar attended the Turkey-Slovenia Business Forum in Istanbul.
The said “Turkey-Slovenia Business Forum” was organized by the DEIK / Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey in cooperation with Turkey- Slovenia Business Council and the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia at the Swissotel the Bosphorus Istanbul on 11.02.2020 with the participation of;
- H.E. Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, Minister of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Turkey,
- H.E. Dr. Miro Cerar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreing Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia,
- Mr. Fatih Canpolat and Mr. Željko Puljić, Turkey& Slovenia Business Council Co-Heads,
- H.E. Mr. Primož Šeligo, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia, all Honorary Consuls of Slovenia and business representatives.
Trade and investment opportunities between the two countries were discussed at the Forum.
Following the opening section of the Business Forum, business people from both countries held bilateral business meetings.
Honorory Consul General of Slovenia Mr. Basar Arıoglu, hosted a dinner in the honor of the Slovene Delegation.
