Gathering of the Slovene Citizens living in Istanbul
In the frame of the consular days Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia, Istanbul Honorary Consul General Mr.Başar Arıoğlu organised a meeting with Slovenian citizens residing in Istanbul in the permises of Honorary Consulate General.
The main topic of this meeting was the interest of social security agreement between Republic of Slovenia and Republic of Turkey.
Attendants were glad with topics which were discussed during the metting. They have stated that they are feeling good in Istanbul without any major issues.
Major concern was the lack of speaking Slovenian language and too few social events in the Slovenian community.
